William F. Hartman

William F. Hartman is Vice President of Fraunhofer USA, Inc., a subsidiary of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, which is Europe's largest non-profit organization for applied research. It operates through technology Centers that are partnered with major research universities in the United States and also with parent research Institutes in Germany. Dr. Hartman earned his Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, Maryland), where he later served as Assistant Professor of Mechanics and Materials Science. He has extensive experience in the development and management of technological businesses. As a corporate executive, he has taken a lead role in start-ups, development of funded research, acquisitions, strategic planning, relationships with universities and research institutes, intellectual property protection, technology transfer, and the organization and direction of foreign subsidiaries.

Lillian Firestone
Chairperson, Board of Directors, US AquaSonics Corporation.

Lillian Firestone has been involved with high-tech companies and developmental stage companies for many years. She served as President of Synchotech Inc., Chairperson for Printron Corporation, and served as a member on four other Boards of Directors. For over 25 years she has served as President and Founder of Firestone Associates, a full service public relations and marketing firm located in New York City. Fortune 500 clients include Pfizer, Frito Lay and Dow Chemical. Ms. Firestone was an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute and a lecturer at Columbia School of Pharmacy and the American Management Association. She was awarded two prizes for literature from the Putnam Publishing Co. She received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College.
